Inoue demolishes Moloney in seven rounds

On a Halloween evening very full of boxing events one of the protagonists was Naoya “The Monster” Inoue. The Japanese boxer has returned to the ring after almost a year of absence, from his fight last year against Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire which saw him triumph in the extraordinary final of the WBSS bantamweight tournament and reunite the WBA and IBF belts of category.

Last night in the Las Vegas “Bubble” ring, the Japanese champion defended his titles from Jason Moloney’s assault (21-2-0, 18KO) by winning before the limit. The Australian, on his second world chance, surrendered at the end of the seventh round, after having already hit the mat once in the sixth.

The first round opens with Inoue in full control, manages the distance with an excellent direct left that marks the rhythm of the fraction, always finding the opponent’s guard unguarded. A timid reaction from Moloney in the second round who tries to impose his jab on the opponent, but can not hold the superior speed of the champion
